Mouse Scrolling in OS X Lion

Mouse Scrolling in OS X Lion

Mouse Scrolling in OS X Lion has changed into reserve direction gesture. It’s similar to finger scrolling on iPhone/iPad/Android or any touch screen phone. The way you pull the screen up and down.

The changed of scrolling behavior sometime confused me when starting using it. Should I move my finger upward or downward? :) I am trying to get use to it, it might be the future of mouse scrolling behavior/gesture; like when Apple first introduce USB storage than Diskette storage.

I have figured out how to change the reverse scrolling…..there are hundreds of sites telling me how to do that! What I can’t figure out how to do is this. I have a Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse. Before I installed OSX Lion, I could go back a page by clicking with my thumb on the side button. Now, when I do that, I get a “quick scroll” on the screen. I have tried everything I can think of to change this back to the old way and just can’t do it. I hope you can help!

    Thanks,
    Sharon
